Crested Butte Fall Elopement

When Addie and Bryan reached out, they originally wanted to secretly elope in October a year before their traditional wedding date. As we started planning, they realized that maybe a traditional wedding wasn’t for them. So instead, we planned a longer elopement in September at an incredible location in Crested Butte, Colorado. We started the day before sunrise, 4x4 driving up a narrow mountain pass to arrive at a gorgeous autumn meadow.

From there, Addie and Bryan each got ready while we prepared for their first look. They shared an intimate and emotional first look at the base of a towering peak. Next, they flipped a coin to see who read their private vows first. They shared their private vows as the sun rose above the peaks until they were basked in a golden glow for their first kiss, with their adorable Corgi, Ellie, cheering them on from the side. They danced with Ellie in tow in the early summer sunshine and explored around the area as newlyweds.

Then we headed to a nearby lake the color of Blue Gatorade where they shared a champagne picnic, a personalized shot ski, and signed their marriage license with Ellie on the back of an old red canoe. Being able to witness their love, commitment, and friendship was so humbling and beautiful for me.

Congratulations, Addie and Bryan!
