Breckenridge Winter Elopement

Ashley and Ryan had planned a big wedding in Texas, but knew they wanted to elope beforehand with their immediate family to share a more intimate experience just for them! We met up at a nearby lake where they adventured around with their adorable pup, Kaiser. They braved the Colorado cold and wind to take some time for just them to experience this incredible spot before it was time to meet up with their family for their ceremony.

Then we loaded up Kaiser and headed to Hoosier Pass where we set up for an intimate ceremony with their immediate family and friends. Their loved ones showed up in adorable embroidered hats and offered the bride and groom a quick shot of whiskey to help relax their nerves. It was so special seeing their families come together to cheer them on and be a part of this incredibly important moment.

Ashley and Ryan quietly read each other’s hand-written vows silently, quietly drinking in this moment. They shared their first kiss beneath the golden afternoon sun while their families clapped and cheered and Kaiser looked on. We headed back to their Airbnb where they changed into these super-cute bride and groom jean jackets, matching socks, and beanies. They shared a drink with their families, ate cupcakes, and tossed the football with Kaiser.

Finally, they donned their white bathing suits and dove into the snow before they hopped into the romantic hot tub. Their elopement day was so uniquely them and I’m so grateful they let me be a part of it.

Congrats Ashley and Ryan!
